My model shows blank or missing pieces

Its textures are still uploading to MineSkin, or ran out of allowance. Without a key, uploads are limited to 10 a minute and 60 an hour. Get a free key at account.mineskin.org/keys, put it under mineskin.api-key, and run /abb models reload: the missing pieces finish uploading. Each piece is uploaded only once.

"Model not found"

The file must be in plugins/AnimatedBB/models/ and end in .bbmodel. Use its name without the extension, and run /abb models reload after adding it. /abb models list shows what is loaded.

The animation does not play

The name must match an animation in the model exactly, as named in Blockbench. Set them with /abb animation <id> idle <name> and /abb animation <id> interact <name>.

It uses too many entities

Use models.render-mode: heads (the default). Boxes that are very thin or partly transparent fall back to coloured panels, which cost more: raise models.alpha-tolerance a little, or make those boxes solid in Blockbench. Turning off models.double-sided halves the panels.

The license key does not work

One key per server, bound to the first machine it ran on. If you moved to a new machine, ask us in Discord with the machine id the console prints.

Bedrock players see a player instead of the model

That is the stand-in: Bedrock cannot draw models. See Bedrock players.
