For your staff

HologramBB has one permission:

Permission	Gives	Default
hologrambb.admin	Every /hbb command, the in-game editor, /hbb web and /hbb apply	operators

With LuckPerms:

/lp group admin permission set hologrambb.admin true
/lp user Steve permission set hologrambb.admin true

Who sees a hologram

Each hologram can choose its audience. In the web editor this is in Menu → Hologram settings → Who sees it; in the file it is the visibility section.

By permission

Only players with the permission see it. Use any permission you like:

/hbb set shop visibility.permission rank.vip
/lp group vip permission set rank.vip true

By condition

Only players for whom a placeholder comparison is true see it. Needs PlaceholderAPI.

/hbb set shop visibility.condition %player_level% >= 10

Comparisons: < <= > >= == !=, with numbers or text. It is checked again every placeholder-interval ticks (see Configuration).

By hand

With Hidden until shown (visibility.manual: true) nobody sees it until you show it with /hbb show <id> <player> or the API.

Giving permissions from a hologram

A hologram can run commands when something happens, so it can give a permission, a rank or a kit. In the web editor, pick a moment (for example Click 1) and under When it starts press + Command:

[console] lp user {player} permission set kit.starter true

[console] runs it as the server; {player} becomes the player's name. When you apply a change that adds commands, the server lists them and asks you to confirm.
