Installation

Requirements

Server	Paper 26.2 or 26.3 (Spigot and forks without Paper's API are not supported)
Java	25
PacketEvents	required, 2.14.0 or newer, installed as its own plugin
PlaceholderAPI	optional, only for %placeholders%

Steps

1. Put PacketEvents in your plugins folder if you do not have it yet.
2. Put HologramBB in your plugins folder.
3. Optionally, put PlaceholderAPI there too.
4. Start (or restart) the server. Do not use /reload to add plugins.

On the first start HologramBB creates this folder:

Check it works

1. Open holograms/example.yml and change world: world to the name of one of your worlds, if yours is called differently.
2. Run /hbb reload.
3. Stand somewhere and run /hbb movehere example.

Walk a few blocks away and come back: the sign pops up as you get close and tucks itself away as you leave.

Who can use the commands

Every /hbb command needs the hologrambb.admin permission, which only operators have by default. See Permissions to give it to your staff with LuckPerms.

Updating

Replace the jar and restart. Your holograms, config.yml and messages.yml are kept; new message lines are added to messages.yml on their own without touching your edits.
